FAQ
The starter decks are The Heist and Embracing Power, each sold in a Beta and a Retail printing: Starter Deck: Embracing Power - Retail and its Beta version, Starter Deck: The Heist - Retail and The Heist - Beta.
Each comes with a fixed list, ready to play. Their cards also have a set page, so you can see the list before buying.
Next to the starter decks, the page lists the demo decks Demo Deck: The Heist and Demo Deck: Embracing Power. They share their names with the starter decks but are separate products, so look for the word Demo in the title.
Demo deck cards are listed on their own set pages, Merc Demo Deck and Arasaka Demo Deck.
The decks are in English, so the points to check are the deck and the printing. Starter Deck: The Heist - Beta belongs to The Heist - Beta Starter Deck, a different set from the Retail one, and a demo deck is not a starter deck.
Read the full product name, then check the seal and the box in the photos.
A single deck such as Starter Deck: The Heist - Retail covers learning and playing. The Cyberpunk TCG deck displays, such as the Starter Deck Display: Embracing Power - Retail, hold several identical decks in store packaging.
Welcome to Night City booster packs give random cards to improve a deck once you know the game.
