FAQ
A gift box combining cards, booster packs or accessories, usually built around characters named in the title: The First Chapter - Gift Set (Mulan & Hades), Into the Inklands - Gift Set (Stitch & Tinker Bell), Azurite Sea - Stitch Collector's Gift Set or Winterspell - Scrooge Gift set. Each box has its own contents, listed on the product page.
The set in the name tells you which set the packs or cards come from.
Gift sets are listed from The First Chapter (2023) to Winterspell (2026), with Into the Inklands, Azurite Sea, Archazia's Island and Fabled in between.
Most are named after the characters they feature: the Archazia's Island one is a Gift Box built around Lilo, and the Winterspell one is the Scrooge Gift set.
Match the full title, character included: Fabled has both a Gift Set and a Collection Starter Set, and Winterspell has a Scrooge Gift set and a Stitch Starter set. Then the language, English, French or German, printed on the box.
A gift set is often bought for its presentation, so dents or loose film matter more than usual. If the box was opened, the listing should say what remains of the cards and accessories.
For someone who wants to play straight away, a Lorcana starter deck is the product built for learning. A gift set such as Fabled - Gift Set mixes cards, packs or accessories and works best as a present for someone already curious about the game. The Lorcana box sets are the Illumineer's Quest boxes, such as Palace Heist, a different kind of product with its own card set.
