FAQ
The Origins Trial Decks from 2025: Origins : Jinx Trial Deck, Origins : Viktor Trial Deck, Origins : Volibear Trial Deck and Origins : Yasuo Trial Deck. Each is a ready-to-play deck built around one champion, made to learn the game without building a list. All four come from the Origins release.
The product page gives each deck's contents.
Pick the champion first, since Origins : Volibear Trial Deck and Origins : Yasuo Trial Deck do not play alike. Then the language: you will learn from the card text, and Trial Decks are listed in English, French, Korean and Simplified Chinese, the French ones titled Trial Deck Origines plus the champion.
Make sure the listing is one deck, not the Riftbound deck case that groups several, and that the box is sealed so no card is missing.
A Trial Deck such as Origins : Jinx Trial Deck teaches the game. A Riftbound Champion Deck, such as Origins : Viktor Champion Deck, is also ready to play, as a finished list for regular games. Riftbound booster packs hold random cards and do not make a deck on their own, so they come after, to grow the deck you started with.
