FAQ
The main formats are standard booster packs and booster boxes, from the Alpha Booster to the Corrupted Booster Box. Collector boosters and collector booster boxes exist for Alpha and Candypocalypse, promo packs include the Patreon exclusive Packs, and the Alpha Booster Case is the factory case listed. Each format has its page, for instance Rise TCG booster packs, booster boxes and promo packs.
A standard pack, such as the Precious Booster, holds random cards from its set. A Rise TCG collector booster is a premium pack built around special card treatments, and it exists for Alpha and Candypocalypse. Take standard packs or boxes to open a set, collector products if special treatments are what you collect, and promo packs for the Patreon and sample releases.
Each product carries its set's name. Candypocalypse is a good example: the Candypocalypse Standard Booster and Standard Booster Box, the Candypocalypse Collector Booster and its box, and the Candypocalypse FR Sample Booster. Watch for the word Standard or Collector in the name, as both lines open cards from the same set. Alpha follows the same pattern with a standard and a collector line.
In English, and for a good part of the range in French too. Sets such as Corrupted, Precious, Fresh, Beta and Candypocalypse have English and French products, while Alpha, the Vault Packs, Monster Kiss and Trophy-01 are listed in English only. The language shows on the packaging; the Rise TCG booster boxes page gives it for each box.
On the Rise TCG cards page, where each card is listed with its rarity (Common, Uncommon, Rare or Legendary), its finish and its version, such as Black Border or Box Topper. Buying a single is more certain than opening packs for it, especially when you want one precise foil, a Galaxy Foil or Cracked Ice Foil copy for example.
