They are the four steps of the Sorcery rarity scale. Ordinary is the everyday baseline; Exceptional, Elite and Unique mark cards meant to turn up less often.
A fifth rarity, Curio, is carried by the cards of the Curios sets, such as Alpha - Curios or Gothic - Curios. None of this says how strong a card is in play.
Standard is the plain print and Foil adds a shiny layer that catches the light. Rainbow is a third finish, found on a handful of cards only.
Most cards exist in both Standard and Foil, and each finish has its own offers, so a Foil Elite from Arthurian Legends is never mixed with the Standard copy. Pick the finish in the filters before you compare sellers.
The variant tells you where a printing comes from. Booster is the regular card from packs. The others come from specific sources: Box Topper, Dust, Organized Play, Preconstructed Deck, Draft Kit, Welcome Kit, Kickstarter, Alpha Investments, Team Covenant and Star City Games.
The same card can therefore appear as a Booster printing and as an Organized Play one, each listed apart. Promo printings are grouped in the Promotional set.
Sorcery cards are listed in English. Apart from a couple of exceptions, the whole catalogue is English only, so there is no language to choose on most card pages.
That also holds for the sealed products: Sorcery booster packs and boxes are listed in English, from Alpha and Beta to Gothic.
Each set has its own card list. Alpha and Beta date from 2023; Arthurian Legends followed in 2024; Gothic and Dragonlord are the 2025 sets. Alpha, Beta, Arthurian Legends and Gothic each have a Curios companion listed apart (Beta - Curios, for instance), and promo cards sit in the Promotional set.
Alpha and Beta are separate sets, so a card printed in both has two entries. Check the set before you buy.
