FAQ

  • The game uses five rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary and Special. The first four form a scale of how often a card turns up in the product it comes from, from Common up to Legendary. Special stands apart: it marks a card by its origin rather than by its place on that scale.

A higher rarity does not make a card better in play. You will find all five on the card list of a main set such as Twilight of the Republic.

  • The finish is the surface of the printed card. Normal is the plain print, Foil adds a shiny layer, and Serialized cards carry their own individual number. Two serialized versions are listed under their own names: Serialized Gold and Serialized Rose Gold.

On CardNexus each finish has its own offers, so a Foil Legendary is never priced together with the Normal copy of the same card. Choose the finish first, then compare sellers across the Star Wars Unlimited catalogue.

  • They are variants: the same card printed with another presentation. Standard is the base version. Hyperspace gives the card a look distinct from that base, Showcase has a graphic presentation of its own, and Prestige is a further variant, some copies of which are serialized.

Each variant is listed as a separate card, with its own page and offers. A set such as Jump to Lightspeed therefore shows a Hyperspace entry next to the Standard one for many of its cards.

  • Cards are listed in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. Almost every card exists in all five; a small part of the catalogue is listed in English only.

The language is part of each offer, not of the card page, so pick it in the filters before you compare. A French copy of a card from Secrets of Power and an Italian copy are two different items in your cart.

  • Open the set's page to see its full card list. The main sets run from Spark of Rebellion (2024) to Homeworlds (2026).

Promo cards are grouped in sets of their own: Judge Promos, Organized Play Promos, Prerelease Promos, the Weekly Play Promos tied to a set (A Lawless Time, Homeworlds) and the yearly Convention Exclusive sets. Galactic Championship 2026 has its own set as well. To open a set rather than pick cards, see the booster packs.
