FAQ
A deck case is the sealed factory carton holding several copies of one deck product. The name tells you which: the Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander Deck Case holds Commander decks, the Reality Fracture case holds the Multiverse Reforged deck, and the Portal Second Age case from 1998 holds theme decks.
How many decks a case holds depends on the product, so check the product page.
Commander deck cases cover Edge of Eternities, Tarkir: Dragonstorm, Final Fantasy (with the Final Fantasy VII Limit Break Game Edition), Reality Fracture and Star Trek Commander, which also has a Collector's Edition case. The oldest is the Portal Second Age Theme Deck Case from 1998.
Read which deck the case holds, its edition and its language. Star Trek Commander cases exist in a regular and a Collector's Edition version, both in English only, while most other cases here are listed in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. For Final Fantasy VII Limit Break, also look for the words Game Edition in the name.
The factory seal should be unbroken; ask for a photo of the carton label if the listing does not show it.
A single Commander deck is enough to play. A Magic deck display is the store box with several decks of a release. The deck case is one level up, the factory carton, for clubs, stores or collectors who want many copies of decks such as the Edge of Eternities Commander decks.
