FAQ

  • Magic sealed products split into packs, boxes, decks and cases. The main families are Secret Lair drops, theme decks and booster packs, along with booster box cases, Commander decks and booster boxes. Smaller groups cover MTGO Redemption sets, prerelease kits, bundles, promo packs, tins and blisters.

Each type has its own page that mixes sets, so pick the format first, then the set.

  • Start from what you will do with it.

    • To open a lot of one set, a booster box such as the Reality Fracture Play Booster Display gives you a full box of packs.
    • For a smaller box with packs and accessories, a bundle like the Star Trek Bundle sits in between.
    • To play straight away in multiplayer, a Commander deck such as Klingon Fury from Star Trek Commander is ready as it comes.
  • Almost every sealed product belongs to one set, and its name starts with that set. The Hobbit, for example, has a Play Booster, a Collector Booster Box, a Prerelease Pack and a Scene Box Case, each on its own type page. Some sets add special formats, like the Secrets of Strixhaven Foil Promo Pack or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tins.

The set page gathers its cards; the type pages gather its sealed products.

  • It depends on the product. Recent sets such as Reality Fracture or The Hobbit are listed in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. Star Trek products are listed in English only, and some older products such as the Theros Beyond Death Deck Builder's Toolkit add Chinese, Korean, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese.

The language printed on the box is the language of the cards inside, so check it on the listing before you buy.

  • Yes. If you already know which cards you need, the Magic cards page sells them one by one, by set, rarity, finish and language. That saves opening packs of Reality Fracture in the hope of one particular rare.

Sealed products make sense when you want the surprise of opening, a deck ready to play, or a product to keep closed.
