FAQ
A box set brings several products together in one box, and this page covers very different lines. Recent sets have Draft Night boxes (Reality Fracture, Lorwyn Eclipsed), Beginner Boxes (Star Trek, Avatar: The Last Airbender) and Scene Boxes such as The Hobbit's Treasure of Smaug. Older entries include the Guilds of Ravnica Mythic Edition, Game Night and Signature Spellbook releases.
The contents differ for each box, so read the product page.
The oldest box sets here are the Collectors' Edition Box and the International Edition Box from 1993. Then come the Pro Tour Collector Set of 1996 and the World Championship Deck Boxes of 1997 and 1998. Later special releases include the SDCC 2018 Planeswalker Set, the Global Series Jiang Yanggu and Mu Yanling, and the Mythic Editions of Ravnica Allegiance and Guilds of Ravnica.
For these older boxes, ask for photos of every side and of the seal.
It depends on the line. Draft Night and Scene Boxes of sets like Marvel Super Heroes are listed in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese, the Mythic Editions in more languages, while Star Trek boxes and the early collector boxes are English only.
Match the exact product name: The Hobbit has two Scene Boxes, Crack the Plates and Treasure of Smaug, and Marvel Super Heroes has Heroes United and Villains Unleashed.
A box set mixes several products in one box, like the Star Trek Beginner Box. A Secret Lair drop is a fixed selection of cards with special artwork, and a Magic bundle is a handful of booster packs of one set with accessories. Several identical box sets in their factory carton are on the collection cases page.
