FAQ
A collector booster is a premium single pack of one set, built around special card treatments rather than the everyday mix of a play booster. Examples here run from the Ravnica Allegiance Collector Booster Pack of 2019 to those of Aetherdrift and Tarkir: Dragonstorm. Some sets add a variant: the Reality Fracture Collector Booster Omega Pack, or the Hanger Packs of Throne of Eldraine and Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths.
What a given pack holds depends on the set.
Collector boosters are listed from 2019, with Ravnica Allegiance and Throne of Eldraine, through Theros Beyond Death, The Brothers' War, Phyrexia: All Will Be One and Dominaria Remastered, to 2026 sets such as The Hobbit, Marvel Super Heroes and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Final Fantasy has both a Collector Booster Pack and a Japanese one, sold as separate products.
Make sure the word Collector is in the name: Lorwyn Eclipsed comes as a Booster Pack, a Sleeved Booster and a Collector booster that look alike at a glance. Then check the language: most collector boosters are listed in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese, older ones such as Theros Beyond Death in more, and the Star Trek pack in English only.
An Omega pack and the regular collector booster of a set are different products.
A single pack lets you try the treatments of a set such as Foundations without buying a whole box. If you want many packs of one set, the collector booster boxes group them in a sealed display. For the everyday packs used to play, see the Magic booster packs.
