FAQ
It is a sealed display of collector booster packs from one set, the premium pack built around special treatments. Examples here include the Commander Masters Collector Booster Box, the Doctor Who box and the Assassin's Creed box, next to main sets such as Wilds of Eldraine. The number of packs per box depends on the product, so check the listing.
The everyday packs of a set come in regular booster boxes, a separate product.
Collector booster boxes are listed from Ravnica Allegiance and Throne of Eldraine in 2019, through Theros Beyond Death, Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths and Core Set 2021 in 2020, to sets of 2026 such as Star Trek, Lorwyn Eclipsed and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Licensed sets have one too, from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth to Final Fantasy.
Check that the title says Collector, since a set's play box and collector box can look alike. Then the language: boxes such as Bloomburrow are listed in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese, plus Simplified Chinese; Doctor Who in English, French, German and Japanese; and Final Fantasy also has a Japanese Collector Booster Display.
The factory wrap should be intact, with no crushed corners.
A regular Magic booster box holds the everyday packs of a set, for opening in volume and playing. A collector box holds premium packs, for those who care about treatments. To try one before committing to a box, single collector boosters of the same set, such as Duskmourn: House of Horror, are sold on their own.
