FAQ

  • The scale runs Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Secret Rare and Treasure Rare. Three labels sit outside it. Leader is the card that heads your deck: it stays apart from the draw pile and sets the deck's colours. Promo marks cards handed out through events or special channels, and Special is used for cards outside the regular tiers.

Rarity places a card in the print run, not in the game's power ranking. Filter by it on a set page such as Emperors in the New World.

  • The finish field has two values. Standard is a plain, non-shiny print; Foil has a shiny layer that catches the light. Rules text and effect stay the same.

Some printings go further and are listed as variants with a name of their own: Pirate Foil, Jolly Roger Foil and Textured Foil. A card called foil can therefore mean several different products. Read the finish and the variant together, as each combination has its own offers in the One Piece catalogue.

  • A variant is another printing of the same card. Alternate Art, the most frequent, swaps the illustration for a different one. Other variants are named after their treatment or origin: Manga, Full Art, SP, Super Alternate Art, Wanted Poster, Gold, Silver, Serial Numbered, Box Topper and Gem. A Reprint is an earlier card printed again.

Each variant is listed as its own entry. The card list of Carrying On His Will shows them next to the base printings.

  • Cards are listed in English, French, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese, and almost every card is available in all five.

The language belongs to each offer, so set it in the filters before comparing. A Japanese Leader from The Time of Battle and the English one are separate items. If you want a whole deck in one language, a One Piece starter deck gives you a matching set of cards in one box.

  • Every set has its own card list. Main sets include recent ones such as The World's Strongest Warriors and Adventure on Kami's Island; collector lines such as Premium Booster -The Best- Vol. 2 and Extra Booster: One Piece Heroines Edition Vol. 2 have their own pages.

Each starter deck is a set too, from Starter Deck 4: Animal Kingdom Pirates to Starter Deck 31: RED Monkey.D.Luffy. Promos sit in One Piece Promotion Cards and in release event sets like The Time of Battle Release Event Cards.
