Pokémon Mini Tins

FAQ

• What is a Pokémon mini tin, and what designs exist?

A mini tin is a small metal tin with a few booster packs, released as a series of designs. The 30th Celebration Mini Tins show Mew, Lapras, Zapdos, Umbreon or Mewtwo, among others, while the Ascended Heroes Mini Tins pair two Pokémon, such as [Togepi & Totodile] or [Zorua & Cramorant]. Each design is listed as its own product, so pick the one you want. The packs come from the series' set, here ME: Ascended Heroes.

• Which Pokémon sets have mini tins?

Mini tins are listed for Pokemon GO (2022), with Magikarp, Snorlax, Blissey, Pikachu and Eevee designs, then for sets such as SWSH: Crown Zenith (2023), SV: Paldean Fates (2024) and SV: Prismatic Evolutions (2025). ME01: Mega Evolution has its Mega Heroes series. Some series stand apart from any set, like the Paldea Friends Mini Tin [Quaxly & Smoliv] or the Galar Power and Lumiose City displays.

• What should I check before buying a mini tin?

First, one tin or a display. The 30th Celebration Mini Tin Display and the Mega Heroes Mini Tin Display group several tins and are separate products from a single tin. Then the Pokémon in brackets: Mega Heroes Mini Tin [Mega Gardevoir] and [Mega Kangaskhan], both from ME01: Mega Evolution, are two designs. Mini tins are listed in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese, so check the language on the lid. Dents and scratches show up well in the photos.

• Mini tin, full-size tin or display case: which format fits?

A mini tin is the compact option for one design. A full-size Pokémon tin holds more and often a promo card. To get a whole series sealed, the 30th Celebration Mini Tin Display groups the designs in one box, and the Pokémon tin cases page lists display cases by the carton, such as those for Paldean Fates or Crown Zenith. The single tin suits a gift or one favourite Pokémon; the display and the case suit a full run.
