Pokémon Kits
A Pokémon kit helps you start playing or build a deck, bringing together cards and accessories. This page lists kits as a separate category from ready-made decks. It holds the Lost Thunder Launch Kit and the yearly Pokemon TCG: Trainer's Toolkit, from the 2020 edition to the 2025 one.

FAQ
Two product lines. The Pokemon TCG: Trainer's Toolkit comes in yearly editions, from Trainer's Toolkit (2020) to Trainer's Toolkit (2025), each listed as its own product. The Lost Thunder Launch Kit belongs to SM - Lost Thunder (2018). Both bring cards and accessories together to help you start playing or build a deck. What each holds varies, so read the product page of the edition you want.
Each year has its own Trainer's Toolkit, and the year in the name is the only sure way to tell them apart: Trainer's Toolkit (2021) and Trainer's Toolkit (2022) are different products. The card selection changes from one edition to the next, so if you want a given card, check the edition's description or look for the card itself on the Pokémon cards page.
Note the edition year, then use the description, photos and seller's notes to confirm everything is present, since accessories are easy to lose once a box is opened. A sealed Trainer's Toolkit (2023) avoids that question. Kits are listed in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese, so check the language of the cards. For the Lost Thunder Launch Kit, see the SM - Lost Thunder set page for the cards of the set.
A Pokémon trainer kit is the two-player learning product with half decks, and a Pokémon starter deck is a complete deck for learning alone. The kits on this page, such as the Trainer's Toolkit (2024), are broader: cards and accessories to set up or build a deck. If you only want cards to play with, a ready-made deck is more direct.
