FAQ
The main families are booster products and decks:
- Booster packs and booster boxes, plus the factory cases of boxes.
- Precon decks, mostly Spotlight Decks, and their store displays.
- Prerelease kits, starter decks such as the Two-Player Starters, promo packs from events, and a gift box.
Each type has its own page, linked from this one.
Start from the use you have in mind. To open a set and build from random cards, a booster box gives you the most packs of one set. To play straight away, a Spotlight Deck such as the Boba Fett deck of Jump to Lightspeed comes built. A prerelease kit adds a promo card to its packs, and the Two-Player Starters are meant for two people learning together.
If you are after a few named cards, singles are more direct.
Almost every product belongs to one set and is named after it. Take Ashes of the Empire: it has a booster pack, a booster box, a booster case, a Carbonite Edition version of each, a prerelease kit, Spotlight Decks (Luke Skywalker, Emperor Palpatine) and a Spotlight Deck Display.
The set page lists the cards those products contain, so you can check what a set offers before opening anything.
Main-set products come in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian, the languages the cards of those sets are listed in. French boxes carry the French set name: Display Étincelle de Rébellion for Spark of Rebellion, Booster Légendes de la Force for Legends of the Force, Display Mondes Natals for Homeworlds.
The language is set per offer, so select it before adding a product to your cart. For event products such as the Convention Exclusive promo packs, check the language shown on the listing.
Single cards have their own page: Star Wars Unlimited cards. There you choose one card by set, rarity (Common to Legendary, plus Special), variant (Hyperspace, Showcase, Prestige) and finish, including Serialized copies.
That is the better route for a card you already know you need. Sealed products make more sense for opening a set like Secrets of Power or keeping a box closed.
